AWC Staff Services are looking for an Earthing Mechanical Fitter to work on a SSER BESS site, in Monk Fryston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, connect, and test earthing systems across various sites and equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for accurate installation.
- Carry out routine and emergency maintenance of earthing infrastructure.
- Perform electrical continuity and resistance testing on installed systems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and test results.
- Work collaboratively with electrical and civil teams to meet project timelines.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in earthing installation and testing in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
- Understanding of relevant standards and regulations related to electrical earthing.
You must have experience in Earthing Installation and Testing in industrial or infrastructure projects. Experience in Tinning and Brazing, grounding systems design and calculations, vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical fitting is desirable.
