AWC Staff Services are looking for a Civil Engineering Site Manager, to work across a design and build Substation that includes the construction of three transformer bays/new GIS building in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
You must have experience in Civil Engineering and your SMSTS and CSCS tickets. Substation experience and National Grid Persons ticket would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a site team and reporting to Project Manager
- Management of subcontractors
- Delivering works ensuring the highest level of safety
- Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
- Writing & reviewing RAMS
- Client interface
- Progress reporting accurately
- Check and sign off Temporary works
Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering background – Essential
- SMSTS – Essential
- CSCS – Essential
- First Aid – Preferred
- Substation experience – Advantageous
- National Grid Persons - Advantageous
