AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Shuttering Carpenter / Joiner, for work alongside our client at Melksham Substation in Wiltshire.
About the role:
- Understanding technical drawings and instructions to ensure accurate installation.
- Ability to adapt and solve issues that may arise on site.
- Inspecting and ensuring the quality of work, making necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.
- Working closely with other tradesmen and site managers to complete projects
- Understand Temporary works processes
You must have experience working in a Substation environment, have your National Grid Persons Authorisation, Manual Handling ticket and any other relevant qualifications to apply for the role.
Start: 23rd February 2026
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £29 Per Hour, Paid CIS
