AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Wireman/Electrician for work alongside their client at Swansea North Substation.
About the role:
- Electrical fitting activities on high voltage switch gear, transformers and associated equipment
- Installation of control and protection equipment.
- Installation of earthing systems.
- Installation of outdoor equipment such as bus bar, disconnectors and switchgear.
- Maintenance of high voltage equipment.
- Fault finding on low and high voltage equipment
- Receiving high voltage documents
You must have your NG Persons ticket and experience working on a live substation to apply for the role
Start: 19th January 2026
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £300 - £320 Per Day, DOE
