AWC Staff Services are looking for a Project Manager to work on a Caledonia Water Alliance project, in Glasgow.
The ideal candidate will understand the water network, experience in techniques delivering high volume mains renewal schemes and knowledge in NEC contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will oversee a variety of clean water projects including slip line, open cut, Pipe bursting, upgrading and sustaining the water Network.
- Follow health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead and manage clean water projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all projects, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.
- Interpret and review project design drawings, challenging designs where necessary to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, ensuring the use of tools like Microsoft Project to track progress.
