AWC Staff Services are looking for a Project Manager to work on a Caledonia Water Alliance project, in Glasgow.  

The ideal candidate will understand the water network, experience in techniques delivering high volume mains renewal schemes and knowledge in NEC contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will oversee a variety of clean water projects including slip line, open cut, Pipe bursting, upgrading and sustaining the water Network.
  • Follow health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Lead and manage clean water projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all projects, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.
  • Interpret and review project design drawings, challenging designs where necessary to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, ensuring the use of tools like Microsoft Project to track progress.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • An understanding of the water network
  • Experience in techniques delivering high volume mains renewal schemes
  • Knowledge in NEC contracts
  • Temporary Works Coordinator Ticket
  • SMSTS Ticket
  • NRSWA Supervisor Ticket
  • Water Hygiene Card
